I was getting pretty bored with using my bright red sheet/curtain as my background for outfit photos. It's a great color and quite possibly the best spot in my house to use the natural sunlight for pictures, but I had to try something different. Enter... secret selfies on campus!
I had some extra time to spare before I started work on my painting, so I took advantage of the mostly empty early morning quiet in the Arts building. You may or may not remember when I took outfit photos in front of the Dennis Oppenheim sculpture back in December, but I thought it would be a great backdrop again.
I didn't have a tripod with me, so I only took photos where I could prop my camera up on something and then run away and pose before the 10 second auto-timer went off. You would have laughed if you saw me. Not so ninja selfies.
I love the mood of these photos (although it sounds like a trial to get them!) The early morning empty-building feeling comes through.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like the snow picture! It was really cold and my fingers were frozen stiff, so I only took two pictures outside! XD
DeleteDude! Kudos for the non-blurry photos! Mine would have been blurred at best no matter what I did! I like them! It's nice to change it up once in a while!
