The missing October photos!
As you may have noticed, I love taking pictures! Photography in all forms has been an interest of mine for the past 13 years, and every month I accumulate so many pictures that I love but I have no idea what to do with them! I figure that at some point I will make some sort of official bound book with a bunch of my favorites, but for now I think a monthly post will do! I am going to do a photodump at the beginning of each month with all the pictures that didn't quite fit into any of my posts. I hope you enjoy them! ( ^O^ )
I love playing with shadows in photography. Here is my silhouette at night! |
I managed to snap a picture of a double rainbow while on campus. You can kind of see the second rainbow in the picture, but it was more obvious with the naked eye. |
Snapped this photo in the morning of a statue on campus. I've always been drawn to it, so I take pictures of it often. It looks a little spooky in this light, though! |
I took this picture with the self-timer on my point and shoot camera. I declare this to be the first of many secret self-timer selfies. (!!!) |
I was looking through old magazines and found this gem of an advertisement. By gem I mean absolutely horrifying. |
Another night time picture. I love taking photos at night because of the artificial light. |
Love these photos! Well, except that mosquito ad. The terror!!!! That statue you photographed is particularly lovely!

Thank you! I should go take a photograph of that statue again... it's covered in snow! Hah!
DeleteI love night photography and playing around with natural and created light, it does take a lot of playing around to get what you see with your eyes transported onto film. (well, digital). The picture of your little girl is adoreable!
ReplyDeleteAwe, thank you! She is such a ham! My drawing teacher always suggests going into a room, turning out all the lights, and just moving around with a flashlight to see what kind of shadows are created by objects.
