OOTD: Life, the ultimate cosplay.

Coat: O'Neill as thrifted from Plato's Closet

Tights: Cuddlduds
Shoes: Zane Riding Boot via Payless

Did I ever express how much I love the idea of dressing up like an RPG character everyday? When I think of that kind of style, it's not so much about adhering to any kind of rules. I think of life as an epic adventure, and I am a character with my own skill set and potential for advancements that eventually lead to leveling up. How would I dress in circumstances such as the long trek to the library by means of bus, or the battle of the Final test at the end of a semester at college.

When I was 13 years old, I was introduced to an RPG by the name of Final Fantasy IX. After playing the game for ten minutes, I knew I would be hooked. I ended up beating the game, only to replay it several more times over the next decade. To this day, it's still one of my absolute favorite games ever, and it influences the kind of style that I admire and try to emulate.

I wanted to applogize for taking so long in getting back to you, I've really fallen behind on eveeything this past month and I'm so sorry for my rudeness in doing so. I'll be in town tomarrow(with no children in tow, wooo!) so if it's still okay with you I can email the interveiw. Again, I am so sorry about that! I hope you and your little girl were able to have a fun Christmas!

  2. Your hair enchants me every time. And I love that dress--swooshy lines are always so cool. I think your adventure style is fitting, given that being a mom and student and worker, IN ALASKA, NO LESS, takes a lot of chutzpah!

    1. I'm glad you like the dress! It was actually made by women in a different country who work in great conditions and get paid a good amount of money. (I've lost the tag since, but it was really pretty and explained everything.)
