Peeping in on my painting space, are you?

In constant motion and rearrangement, my supplies dance around the desk while I have painting seizures.

I just started the first project for Intermediate Watercolor class yesterday, and I thought it would be neat to take a few pictures of my work space before I get into the nitty gritty of this assignment. If you've ever watercolored before, then you know very well that nothing ever goes according to plan (you could say that about most crafts, though). I've already run into more than a few issues that I have to try and work around. (Like paint getting under the masking tape... ARGH!) I will take more progress pictures in a few days!

A mushroom pouch that my BFF thrifted and then gave to me! Thanks, Derpfia!

Just had to take a picture from this angle.

Using Winsor & Newton watercolor paint.

Found this mug at Salvation Army for 99 cents. That coupled with Jack London's intensity inspired a purchase.

  6. Thanks for stopping by, Marlen! Watercolor is so spastic, sometimes! Or maybe I am just spastic. It's difficult to master and I feel like a derp when I do it! And yes, I am absolutely going to post it when it's done! (It's due Tuesday) :)
