The Pricing of my Jewelry

The following is something that I shared on my Facebook art & jewelry page (find it here), but I wanted to share it here as well since I find it to be a relevant topic.

---

I would like to mention something about the pricing of my jewelry pieces. It's not unusual for people to contact me and try to talk down my prices because they think that it's too high. The reason why my wire wrapped pieces are priced the way they are is because they take many, many hours to make. Depending on the complexity of a piece, it can take anywhere from 1 hour to 10 hours. Then I also have to factor in the material costs which can be pricey, especially silver wire. I do all the wire wrapping myself. Every little pattern or weave was done with my hands, and done with care and consideration to the overall design. So, please don't be surprised when I say that I won't lower the price of one of my pieces. And also, thanks to anyone who has purchased any of my jewelry. It means the world to me!

Here are two photos of one of my favorite wraps that I ever made. The photo on the top is of the progress, before it was oxidized. The bottom is a photo of the finished result.
